Thema: smaller clan size

Perhaps it is time to break into smaller clans ourselves since we all have mentioned it but it hasn't been changed to make us do it.  Until decisions are made as to the future of this game, we can still have some good battling fun if we can break the top 3 clans up into 4-5 clans of no more than 9 players each. 1 Leader and 8 members. Just put a lock on the membership once that is reached.  Otherwise there is truly nobody for my clan to battle.

Suggestions as to how to do this?

I know this has been tried on every sever since stable 1, and always failed.
Even if you split up or it's in the game, friends still wont attack each other.
So ... goodluck.

I think along with the idea of maybe capping the clan size it would be ... Thats how small clans with people that are dedicated total war ..

It's never been tried, there was always someone who said it has been tried, friends won't attack and so on....

Your village is 38100% bigger than the defending village. You will probably lose 90 honour by attacking this village. If someone of your clan attacked this village earlier, every clan member will lose honour.

It's never been tried, there was always someone who said it has been tried, friends won't attack and so on....

There has been talk about splittig up more then onces, but it always failed at the end. Players didn't trusth each other when it came to making new clans. Other players wanted to stay with there friends. The clans had to be off the same strenght to keep it fair and so on.
If 2 clans work togheter, point lost.
To make this work, you need a new server, new blood and more stuff that only works for clanmembers (example: you can only support clanmembers).

Ah.. yes, so you mean there's been talked about this in the past tongue
And we do agree on that it's never been actually tried, all there was was talk, talk, talk.

In the end the server either needs a reset or clans need to split up...

Well reducing the clan size is easy enough to do now...
And the bugs on testing are high on my todo list.

Right....
Can we limit clan size to let's say, 8?
Seems a normal number considering the amount of active players?

Can you disband all clans, set a max of 8 players so everyone needs to re-form the clans?
