Hello,

I have pushed the new market rules to the test server.
Please, if you have some time, test them out and let me know should anything go wrong.

If all this goes well we'll probably be pushing these to stable fairly soon.

I have also pushed a few changes to the battle system. From now on the frontage is calculated differently. The effect should be that big battles will last long. Also, I have discovered a bug in the previous frontage calculations that might have given some troops a bonus on other troops. (Troops with a low frontage had a benefit over troops with large frontage).

I have also improved the battle simulator so that you can test and familiarize yourself with the new battle rules.

Can you post some of the market rules?
What calculations are used?

As it is now it's impossible to send 100K iron from a 20K village down to a smaller one... that will take lots of transactions, i suggest sending to one of your own villages has no restrictions. (perhaps a bit to much to ask, i like these rules since they get rid of all possibilities of cheating, rune manufacturing takes a lot more effort)

Also, having a huge village 20K still  gives me just 4 concurrent transactions, a small village (7K) seems to have 6 transactions....

I'm curious for how this works.

After testing i discovered it's 10K per transaction, this seems a little low for bigger villages.
Also an 8K village has 4 concurrent transaction slots while a 22K village only has 3.

Hi,

I'll add a little "rule overview" to the market soon, I indeed forgot about that. A rune transaction is 2  runes max, resources are at 10000 at the moment. (Milan didn't decide that limit yet). Equipment is unlimited at the moment.

The amount of transactions you can have is calculated based on the amount of market levels you have.

Also, the speed should be tweaked a bit. Milan should take a look at the stats soon.

I would suggest that resources are a percentage of the village you are sending to... not sending from....  since it makes no sense to send 10K to a 22K village, doesn't make sense to send 100K to a 3K village as well.
Also, rune transaction limit is fine, the bigger the village the longer the build times so that's fine. (IMHO)

K, amount of market levels makes sense, i got the impression it was based on village size.

As it is now, the resources get delivered right away,  and then it takes some time (depening on distance before they can be send away again) may i suggest that it takes time before the goodies get delivered?

Speed could be a lot slower... i would think twice the speed of a fast cav. unit wink
(just to make things interesting in the game)

please reverse those changes in the market....
Been testing a little and due to some bug with the amount of transfers i get runes every few minutes now... sent 2 runes to a level 4 market, it seems to think i should recieve 8 runes every 18 minutes (18 minutes is travel time)
I'm sitting on over 400 runes allready.. i expect them to run into thousands soon...
Can we reset testing to where it was yesterday?

I've just pushed the following update to the server: Terrain bonus.

Following terrain bonus are effecting battles now:
Forest: +60 ranged defense
Swamp: -35% attack for cavalry
Ruins: +50 magic defense

Please let me know if you encounter issues.

I there any way to fixate the regiments to a certain slot?
Cause now troops seem to drift all over the battlefield... and it just sucks to have cav units stuck in the swamp (mine don't like the musquito's)

No, troops always move the center square.

Bugs are gone, thnx Thijs!
I still think the amount that can be transferred needs tweaking.
Sending 10 K from a village that makes 100K per hour to a village that makes 120K per hour is nonsense, this should be a percentage of the village size..
So a market lvl 1 can send 10% of it's netto income to another village
Market lvl 2 can send 20% and so on....
(10% of daily income or something)
